Drag files into folders in Media Library

I would like to be able to drag and drop files into folders i create in the media library, it's very intuitive as most places we have interactions with files and folders let you drag files and folder into other folders so add them to the folders.

Good news, this one is done! 🎉
The revamped Media Library shipped as the default in Strapi 5.54.0 (16 September 2026), and you can now drag assets onto a folder, including onto the folder tree in the sidebar, plus select several assets and move them in one go.
Sorry it took a while. Thanks for posting it back in 2022 and to everyone who voted since, it was part of what pushed the Media Library revamp up the list.
