Small update: we finished another small iteration which adds a breadcrumb navigation. You can find more info here: https://github.com/strapi/strapi/pull/13917
This will be released as part of 4.3.3 next week.

Gustav Hansen (he/him): How to prevent content manager mistakenly upload the images to a different sub folder, can we stick to a fixed subfolder for each plugin or collection type for upload in the above image? Sorry I did not get into details yet but need to explore.
Derrick Mehaffy
Kevin Lee: Probably best to join our community channels to ask for help like this. Thanks!
Gustav Hansen (he/him)
Kevin Lee: For questions/ discussions please ask your questions on Discord, like Derrick suggested.
Short answer: you can't right now. For this first iteration we didn't implement any new permissions and folders basically work like files for now. If you need this, please open a new feature request and make sure to explain your use-case, so that our product team has the chance to understand what you'd like to build.

Gustav Hansen (he/him): Gustav, thanks for the advice. I think I am good for the media lib questions. I had another devOps question I posted here, https://forum.strapi.io/t/strapi-deployment-with-aws-application-load-balacer-alb-issue/21381,
I saw your forum traffic is really low. Could any of your experts help me take a look? Thanks!
Tobias
It would be creat if the REST API upload plugin would accept a path parameter to determine the folder. In my use case all media ist created via formData by users.
Gustav Hansen (he/him)
Tobias: I encourage you to upvote another feature request: https://feedback.strapi.io/feature-requests/p/support-for-media-folders-in-the-content-api
It would be a great help, if you could elaborate a bit over there, what your use-case is and what you'd like to build.
Tobias
Gustav Hansen (he/him): I elaborated my use-case in the other FR :)

Hi Aurélien,
It's June 15 is Media Folders Update Coming?
Alexander
where can I read a description of this feature? What does the "Media Folders" mean?
I have a aws-s3 provider for Media Library. At the moment it uploads all content to one bucket. Would be nice if I could specify a folder so some assets are separated from others within a bucket. Say, user-generated content like avatars, etc from editorial assets.
Is this feature about that?
Facundo Garcia
Alexander: this feature that you stand was already in this issue https://github.com/strapi/strapi/issues/2972 but I think are not related each other, since this feature only works on admin panel but nothing to do with uploads on the cloud. 😞 I was expecting the same as you
