Option to change the date format in the admin dashboard

Please, give an option to change the date format in the admin dashboard.
This was possible in v3 through simple customizations but it would be much better to have the option from the global settings of the admin dashboard.

Looks like a Strapi strategic decision which upsets non-US customers.
Browsers by default use the local date format when using html input.
In earlier version of Strapi 3, it used the local date format.
Strapi subsequently has overwritten the default.

This is essential functionality for us, please develop.

Most important: A global setting to change the date input fields to UK dates for all users, so when I type 5/4/00 I get 5th April 2000 not 4th May 2000. Also show the dates in table columns in UK date format e.g. Wednesday 27 August 2025
Ability to choose short date display options for dates in columns. One setting for all global users would be fine: e.g. DDD DD MMM YY would show: Wed 27 Aug 25 and save a lot of scrolling.
Ability to set 1 and/or 2 at the user level, overriding the global setting.

This is a requirement for non-US users as 9/4/24 is understood as 9th April in other countries. Any updates on this please?

I specifically want to be able to change the relative date (i.e. "2 months ago") in the information panel of an entry to a specific datetime. Controlling the format of the datetime would be great to but I wouldn't be picky :)

I also need this feature. We are not in the US and the US date format confuses users of the admin panel. 02/02/2024 is ambiguous unless you have been told that the admin panel displays dates in US format.

This is extremely important, especially in internationalised setups where the display date format does not necessarily correspond to the admin language.
