The color picker field is available in Beta and will be released as a stable Custom Field on September 28th

Colors are often an important customizable part of the content. Being able to offer a color picker as a field, possibly with a preset restricted palette (imagine the horror otherwise) would be a great addition to the set of fields we have.

Franck De Girolami: It will be released as part of our Custom Fields beta (as it's one of the demos of our new custom fields). I'm not sure of the exact beta date but I believe in the next week or two.
