Add a "folder-like" group function to organize content types

I believe it would greatly improve the user experience if we can add a "folder-like" grouping function to content types (single type and collection type), so that if you have a lot of content types (for example if you have like 50 webpages, you will have like 50 single types), it really makes a lot more sense to have groups. For now users can only mitigate this by using some naming conventions, but I doubt if this is an elegant solution.

This is ultimate feature, because in general it would be easy to handle multiple site without change name every content collection, just group into folder and it make more organize.

I wanted the same but to workaround I had to create a page builder content type and associate it with page folder content type, that way I was able to organize my pages, grouping single type though is not possible.

Nearly 450 upvotes since 2022, my god! why is this not a thing yet. Was going to start using strapi with Astro but the first thing I’d seen was just throwing everything in a build in one sidebar menu

How is it still not implemented...

Doesn't this feature exist yet? I'm looking for a way to achieve it

I cannot believe that this basic functionality still did not exist. In ideal variant, it did not affect API routes, only visually groping in panel.

An important priority indeed. This is especially useful for a CMS with a large number of content types and a fine management of admin rights.
